Good morning! Meet your Trip Leader at 8:00 am at the designated meeting spot in Salt Lake City and get ready to head towards Jackson, Wyoming.
Once in Jackson, orient yourself in this cowboy town and visit Grand Teton National Park for the first time to take advantage of epic photo ops before heading to your campground to set up camp with your new group of friends.
That evening, settle in under the stars or enjoy an optional night out on the town.
Start your morning off right with optional horseback riding or whitewater rafting.
After lunch, make your way back to Grand Teton National Park to enjoy endless hiking options around Jenny Lake. Be sure to take your Trip Leader’s safety talk seriously and watch out for bears!
After taking in the fresh air, and maybe spotting some elk or other wildlife, return to camp and enjoy a dinner around the campfire.
Drive through both the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park, stretch your legs with a short hike to a look out over the Grand Prismatic Spring, and even see herds of bison that are known to block the roadways!
Arrive in Chico Springs and enjoy a dip in the river before enjoying dinner and settling into your lodge for the night.
Rise and shine! We’ll wake up extra early this morning to embark on a wildlife and wolf tracking expedition. Spend the day tracking wildlife and learning all about the surrounding flora and fauna from a local wilderness guide.
Break for lunch and talk about what animals you spotted as you enjoy one of the many scenic picnic spots within the park.
Finish the day soaking in the hot springs or take a quick nap in your room before enjoying another dinner with your new group of friends.
Fill up on a buffet breakfast at an award-winning restaurant before conquering another day in the national park.
This day you’ll get to see, and smell the countless geothermal hot springs in found Yellowstone National Park...you’ll even witness the famous Old Faithful erupt right on schedule!
That evening, settle into your new campgrounds, enjoy some dinner, followed by some time around the campfire.
Wake up to catch the sunrise over Yellowstone Lake...trust us, you won’t regret waking up early for this view!
Continue your morning with a hike Uncle Tom’s Point out through Ribbon Lake, providing epic first views of the canyon from the trail...rather than a busy parking lot with a lot of tourists.
End your day with a visit to Mud Volcano before savoring your last dinner as a group back at your campsite.
Bid Yellowstone National Park goodbye as we drive to Salt Lake City for our final day of adventure. Make a stop for lunch along the way then finish by exploring Salt Lake City and learn some history about the Church of the Latter Day Saints.
We’ll spend our afternoon in Salt Lake City, and finish our trip by 5:00 pm right back where it all started.
